Facilities Manager
Position Overview:
Flexible part-time 15-20 hours per week
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Facilities Manger to oversee the upkeep and functionality of our church building. This role includes completing/managing cleaning and maintenance needs, supporting event with setup/teardown, coordinating with outside vendors, and ensuring that the facility is safe, welcoming, and ready for ministry activities each week.
Sunday service set up and teardown: first to arrive (7am) and last to leave (noon-ish) and available during service for any needs that arise. (will be "on the clock" during service). Able to lift 50 lbs from the ground up to a countertop...push, pull, lift, sit, kneel, squat and stand for periods of time. Able to drive your personal vehicle to stores to purchase supplies as needed. Availability for on call building related emergencies if/as needed.
This position reports directly to Pastor Ken and will be compensated as hourly W-2 employment. The hourly rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Skills and qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic handyman/maintenance ability (repairs, minor projects, troubleshooting)
Ability to manage supplies and vendors (Amazon, Costco, local services, etc.)
Flexibility for Sunday morning setup/teardown, weekly cleaning and occasional events
